Broadband Usage now hits new heights!

Broadband has now been adopted by almost 90% of all UK web users, according to new figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS).

The ONS said that in September, 88.4% of all UK web connections were via broadband, up from 86.2% in June.

The report, which surveyed ISPs, said connections were up by 8.1% on the same period last year, and that 45.2% were between 2Mbps and 8Mbps.

Only 4% of all connections were in excess of 8Mbps.
